But as the days of Noah were so shall also the days coming of the Son of man be, For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. They knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Matthew 24:37-39

                                                                     October 2017 has arrived!

October represents Tishri on the Jewish calendar. The commemoration begins on September 21, and concludes October 20, 2017. It is a continuation of celebrating Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur which are two major holidays celebrated during the month of September.

As we continue to reflect on Rosh Hashanah 2017 “The New Year on the Jewish calendar” also known as “Head of the Year” and Yom Kippur the holiest day of the year. We’re reminded of how significant September is regarding times and seasons on the Jewish
calendar. The seventh month according to Jewish customs represents a time of self evaluation, prayer, fasting, and repentance. It’s also a time to realign with Gods promises, if there has been a shift from the narrow path. The seventh month is a significant season for numerous reasons……

*This is the month when God tested Abrahams faith by asking him to sacrifice his beloved son on Mount Moriah (Gen. 22:1-14). Abraham trusted God and because of his unwavering faith God spared his son and crowned him with many blessings.
*God also gave Adam authority over the Garden of Eden during this season (Gen 2:8-16).
*King Solomon also completed building the temple during this season (1Kings 8:2-6).

April is the beginning of the year on the Jewish calendar and is recognized in the Jewish culture as the month of Nissan. The month of Nissan is commemorated as a time when God freed the Jews from the bonds of slavery while under Pharaohs rule. Through the Prophet Moses, God gave specific instructions (to the Jews) to place the blood of a lamb on their doorpost to avoid the plague of the death angel that would kill the first born male of every Egyptian in the land. Since the time of Exodus from Egypt, God commanded the Jews to observe this ordinance for all generations to come.

This year the Holy Convocation is observed on April 15, at dusk and is observed for (7) to 8 days and concludes at nightfall on the 8th day.

                                                                                  September decrees & Jewish history

The month of September represents Elul and is the 12th month on the Jewish calendar. The name Elul means search, particularly because this month emphasizes searching the heart and repenting for all sins against others. This is also a time to determine progression regarding current and future seasons. The history of Elul also depicts a time when Moses prayed for the Jews regarding the great sin of building the golden calf. Most importantly Elul is a significant time of preparation for upcoming holidays such as Rosh Hosanna and Yom Kippur which is the holiest day of the year on the Jewish calendar.

cross-divider                                                                                          Jewish History for August

On the Jewish Calendar August represents the month of AV, the Jewish history for AV means a month of mourning and revelation. There are several reasons why the Jews mourned during the month of AV just to name a few……Aaron the high priest passed away during AV, Both of the Holy temples in Jerusalem were destroyed (the first by the Babylonians and the second by the Romans), The Jews of England were expelled by King Edward, The Jews of Spain were expelled by King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella. The sins of the ten spies was also revealed during this month. However despite the month of mourning the Jews trusting the restoring power of God in their lives. They knew despite their loss and time of grief God’s power could heal and restore. Just as the Jews trusted and believed in Gods renewing power so can we. Let’s turn our faces back to God and trust Him to heal and restore even greater than before.

“For last minute viewers, Below you’ll find Jewish history, and prophetic utterances for the month of January”.

We’ve entered the month of January 2016 on the western calendar which represents Tu Bi Shvat on the Jewish calendar. Tu Bi Shvat and is celebrated on January 25 (however all observation of jewish holidays begin on the eve of the actual holiday). Tu Bi Shavat is the day that marks the beginning of the New Year for trees.

This day is customarily celebrated by eating fruit. During this time the Bible speaks of eating wheat, barley, grapes, figs, pomegranates , olives, and honey. According to the Jewish law the New Year for trees defines a time of separating tithes for the poor and Levites (Deuteronomy 8:8). This is also a season in which the earliest blooming trees in the land of Israel emerge from their winter sleep and begin a new fruit bearing cycle. God is also pruning and purging the Saints in the spirit realm, in an effort to bring forth more fruit.

cross-divider                                                                                                                          Special Post…..

Below you’ll find a powerful word God released in November 2015 which we believe will be the catalyst for many breakthroughs in 2016 and beyond. It’s such a powerful word we decided to allow it to remain posted for a period of time. We hope you’re blessed by the Word.

The month of November on the western calendar represents Kislev on the Jewish calendar.  Kislev reflects a time of trust, truth, and hope. This month (November) also represents countless dreams affirming God’s promises, the light of Christ overcoming darkness, and the rainbow reminding us of God’s Holy covenant.

During this season, trusting the promises of God are essential due to the wave of warfare the enemy has attempted to inflict upon the chosen ones. Yes, the enemy has raised his hand against God’s people; his focus is to contend, oppose, discourage, and minimize God’s authority in us and on earth.
Clearly an attack has been launched against those that are (duty bound) advancing the kingdom of God.
However, (Glory to His Name) the Lord has been preparing, equipping, and stabilizing the saints through fasting and prayer. In turn causing strength, empowerment and endurance to emerge .

Now is the time to rest in God’s supernatural power; it is the key to perseverance, peace, and victory! Through pockets of warfare remain focused, prayerful, sober, and vigilant!
Wisdom is the Key…………………..
It’s imperative that you know those that are laboring among you; identify your covenant partners and support teams. Embrace God’s pruning process with abundant joy. Release hindering spirits, murmuring, and complaining.

Loose all unnecessary weights, cut your losses, and advance forward so that you may run this race with joy!
More importantly, make sure all alignments are orchestrated by the Holy Spirit, expect new connections, re-connections, and disconnections. We’re in our finest hour!!!! God is downloading warfare strategies and releasing in-depth revelation. Meditation and Prayer is the key to continued victories throughout seasons to come. God is faithful, we’re taking territories by force. Remember God’s divine order and obedience will catapult higher heights and deeper depths.

Be encouraged God’s covenant promises are manifesting!

It’s mandatory that we incorporate prayer when fasting…..

While fasting please pray for clarity regarding the voice of God. The Bible declares, we should hearken our ear to the good shepherd, and the voice of a stranger we shouldn’t  follow (John 10-27). Embrace this season of Divine breakthroughs by aligning yourself with God’s strategic ordained order.
Warfare is intense, but we’re taking it by Force…. Drastic times call for drastic measures!

Fasting Schedule…….Stay tuned for details regarding March fasting schedule. Please allow the Holy Spirit to lead you during your time of fasting.
